AEC exhibitions has embraced the NGO Tomorrow Trust as the official beneficiary of the PHOTO & FILM EXPO 2009. AEC will donate 6.25% of the door to the Tomorrow Trust, Universal Image the official retailer of the PHOTO & FILM EXPO will donate a percentage still to be determined of all retail sales at the event, to the Trust. AEC has allocated the Trust a 36 sqm stand plus all services so that they can promote their commitment and the work they do in our communities, to the visitors to the event.
AEC will be staging a Photographic Art auction at this year’s event and the proceeds the auctioneer would normally obtain, will be donated to the Trust. Photographers and collectors of Photographic Works will be invited to put their work under the hammer. This auction will include product from exhibitors, memorabilia and equipment from the past, allowing every exhibitor to participate in donating to one of the most professionally run NGO’s in the country.
A short documentary competition of 5 minutes, which will be based on issues of concern facing every South African in their day to day lives, will be launched at the Photo & Film Expo in July this year. This competition will carry very attractive prizes for winner.
AEC invites all suppliers and wholesalers to participate at this event. The PHOTO & FILM EXPO will become the biggest focused photographic show in SA.
